Group insurance is available to businesses and certain other organizations with two or more
full-time employees. State insurance law regulates what types of organizations qualify as a

PacificSource offers a wide variety of group health plan designs within each of the
following product lines.
- FlexPerks: This
consumer-directed benefit design
combines a low-cost health plan with a personal spending
account--either an HRA or an HSA--and a debit ca
rd.
It's designed to put consumers in touch with the real cost of care
while empowering them to make informed decisions and offering
financial incentives for wise choices.
- Preferred: The Preferred product line includes our PPO (preferred
provider organization) plan designs, where provider reimbursement is
based on a fee schedule. These plans offer members the widest choice
of providers with few restrictions on provider access.
- Prime: Our Prime plans are our
managed care plan designs. Prime
plans require members to choose a PCP from
the plan's provider panel and obtain referrals for specialist treatment.
- Choice: The Choice product line
features plans that blend the benefits of PPO and managed care products. Our
Choice plans are similar to our Prime plans, but offer members
more flexibility and fewer managed care rules. Members still select a PCP,
but they can access care from other providers without a referral.
All PacificSource group health plans include benefits for preventive
care, physician office visits, and hospital services. Optional coverage
is available for prescription drugs, dental
care, chiropractic services, acupuncture and naturopathic treatment,
life insurance, and vision care.
In addition to the fully-insured group benefits
offered by PacificSource, our subsidiary,
Select Benefit Administrators,
offers self-funded benefit plans for employers who choose to self-insure.
